The Importance of Hydration
To maximise the benefits of your microcurrent treatment, it is crucial to ensure proper hydration before your session. I recommend drinking an adequate amount of water, specifically 2-4 8oz glasses, within the 2-4 hours leading up to your appointment.
Please note that individuals with higher muscle mass, athletes, and elderly patients may require increased water intake. If you are an elderly person and chronically dehydrated, it may be necessary to hydrate for several days before your treatment, in addition to consuming water on the day of your appointment.
During your consultation, you may be asked about your water consumption, including the quantity and form of hydration.
It’s important to note that coffee, caffeinated tea, carbonated drinks, and other fizzy beverages cannot be counted as water. However, you can flavour your water with juice or opt for decaffeinated tea. Stay hydrated and prepare for a successful treatment!
